Another successful YES! Winter Workshop: among the highlights. . . students experimented with high r-value window insulation strategies, sited a hypothetical greenhouse, peered under the hood of our new electric truck, peered into the combustion chamber of a biomass furnace, peered into a coal-fired power plant, peered up at a 2-megawatt wind turbine, and video-conferenced with a Swedish biomass expert.
