Springfield YES video selected as one of the top ten in the nation!

Springfield High School YES team entered the Samsung: Hope for Children, Solve for Tomorrow video competition and has been chosen among the top 10 in the nation! In this video, they highlight their Energy Monitoring Program (EMP) they started with the middle school and eight ways they help reduce energy waste.

Voting is now closed. Thank you to all who voted for not only supporting the Springfield team, but also demonstrating the power of community support, large and small!

3/3/2011: The Springfield video was unfortunately not selected as one of the top 5 finalists.  However, their team will still receive $50,000 in technology products from Samsung, Microsoft, DirecTV, and the Adobe Foundation.
