During the 2015-2016 year, the Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City (ACGC) YES! team was given a $1,000 grant to go towards LED lights for the parking lot of our school. This grant was provided by the McKnight Foundation. As of 9/30/16, we have 14 out of 37 light fixtures switched over to LED. We plan to get them all switched over in the coming years. As soon as we are able to switch them all over, we will be getting solar lights. We are going to start looking into grants or sponsorships as soon as we get all the lights switched to LED. To help with costs, we are looking for companies or individuals to sponsor a light pole. Since the lights are a new and upcoming project, all of the numbers are not in yet, but we will be saving a lot of money and energy over time.
