Helps us celebrate the 45th anniversary of Earth Day on Saturday, April 25th at Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center! There will be great activities and information surrounding the theme “Healthy Soil, Clean Water”.
What: Healthy Soil, Clean Water Earth Day Expo
Where: Prairie Woods ELC (12718 10th St NE, Spicer, MN 56288)
Schedule: 8 am-1 pm on Saturday, April 25th
- 8 am-10 am pancake breakfast
- 8 am-1 pm Activities and Exhibits, including a Recycled Outdoor Gear Sale
- 9:30 am and 10:30 am “Don’t treat your soil like dirt!”
Attractions for kids and adults: free trees, “Art of Erosion” John White photo exhibit, ag best management practices, water quality information, educational activities, info booth, DNR laser shot, archaeology exhibits, flint knapping, Joel Osmond, watershed health, birding, scavenger hunt, climbing wall, live hawk demo, soil tunnel, reptiles, kids yoga, fly-tying demo, and more!
