LEED Certification opportunity

The U.S. Green Building Council – Minnesota Chapter (USGBC-MN) recently announced the Chapter’s Adopt-A School-Program. In 2011, the Minnesota Chapter will choose a Minnesota public school [elementary and/or middle school and/or junior high (no high schools or pre-K schools)] to participate the school will also have the opportunity to achieve certification under LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance.

Please note: this opportunity is available for elementary and middle-schools ONLY! We encourage YES participants, however, to aid in the process as you are well-equipped with the knowledge of your local resources and opportunities.
