Compass Learning Center students installed 5 indoor window extenders to facilitate indoor plants and seed starting for our outdoor gardens. The McKnight Grant also supported an additional 2 outdoor garden beds, adding to our other 3 outdoor garden beds. They will be utilized May-October for vegetable planting. The vegetables will be used to teach students about eating healthy as well as community sharing of fresh food.
