We at YES! love TED Talks and think that they can be a green inspirational tool for YES! teams. YES! Coordinator Jonathan Morales compiled 3 TED Talks he thinks will get your YES! team motivated to do great work this school year!
1. Whether you are working on a greenhouse or a Supermileage vehicle listen to Birke Baehr and be inspired to take what you believe in and make it your known. His speech, “What’s wrong with our food system”, is even more effective given that he is 11 years old!
2. Do you like to breathe? After watching Kamal Meattle’s talk, “How to grow fresh air”, it is hard not to want to try to put yourself in an airtight container and put his methods to the test!
3. When you encounter an obstacle make it an asset! Magnus Larsson’s Speech ,”Turning dunes into architecture” is bound to get you thinking about what is in your way and how can it help you! Inspiring and ingenious solutions are sometimes the simplest.
