The Minnesota Renewable Energy Society is hosting two free Renewable Energy Workshops and Tours on October 27th for anyone interested in seeing large-scale renewable energy projects grow in SW Minnesota.
The workshops will focus on encouraging local schools, public institutions, farms and businesses to use cleaner fuel sources as well as the technical process it takes to begin and complete a successful project including; site assessments, choosing a technology, fundraising and financing and how to launch a renewable energy project. Once the workshop is completed the group will be led on a guided tour of local renewable energy projects, listed below.
