Meet Jake Schwinghammer! Youth Eco Solutions is so excited to have him as a part of our organization. He enjoys hiking, canoeing, fly fishing and sharing his passion for the outdoors and the environment with people of all ages. He thrives by helping people find creative ways to incorporate practical sustainability practices into their daily lives, while also guiding them to discover environmental issues that they will feelpersonally passionate about.
A Letter From Jake
Greetings YES Coaches and Students,
My name is Jake Schwinghammer, and I am the new YES Team
Manager. I live in New London, MN, with my wife Kirsten, our
daughter Linde and our dog Forest. I enjoy hiking, biking and fly
fishing. One of my passions is to share my love of the outdoors
and desire to care for the environment with folks of all ages. I am
excited to work for YES because I believe that the key to
protecting our natural resources is to teach, guide and empower
youth to take action through hands-on community projects. I aim
to be a resource for all YES Coaches and Students; I am ready to
get started! I look forward to meeting you all at the Fall Summit
and learning more about your projects and goals; let’s see what
