How was Lac qui Parle’s composting class?…
...a big hit! Lac qui Parle Valley YES team hosted their indoor composting class last week with great success! Check out their recently posted pictures on the YES facebook page to see the number of smiles for yourself! We look forward to hearing how participants like using their worm bins and the excitment about composting it generates in your community!
How did it go?!?
It was a 'dark and stormy night' (or at least a dark day) but WWG Highschool has made it through "Black Out Day." At 8:30 their group split up and turned off the lights in hallways and classrooms. While shutting off lights they taped small signs that say "no lights" on top of every light switch. They noted that it was pretty dark in the hallways, but exciting at the same time :)
