Summer in the Metro

Discovery Woods LED Lighting
Our school used our McKnight Foundation grant money to install LED lights in our library. Our building is almost eighty years old and has seen some updates but we have a ways to go yet. New Prague YES! Feeding Students Locally
Submitted by New Prague YES! Team Compass Learning Center students installed 5 indoor window extenders to facilitate indoor plants and seed starting for our outdoor gardens. GSL YES! Team Competes at MNRES Solar Boat Regatta
The 26th annual Solar Boat Regatta was held Saturday May 19th at Riley Lake Park. Glencoe Silver Lake participated in the student division. At the MRES' Solar Boat Regatta, teams demonstrate knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to design and build boats powered by the sun. They compete in a speed and slalom races, culminating with a one-hour endurance race. This event
