Are you looking for a family-friendly activity to do in support of the 45th anniversary of Earth Day? Come to the Ney Nature Center in Henderson, MN on April 25! This year, the Earth Day Green Living Expo focuses on water conservation. Vendors include Le Sueur County Soil and Water Conservation, Le Sueur City Water, Norwex, and Essential Oils. Freebies include swag from the Freshwater Society and shower timers to help you conserve water at home.
At 4:15, there will be a documentary showing of “Tapped,” which focuses on the bottled water industry and the impact it has on our health and environment. Popcorn will be provided during the showing.
In addition to these great water-themed activities, you will have the opportunity to explore the trails of the Ney Nature Center, spanning 446 acres on the bluffs of the Minnesota River.
