According to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) Minnesota's public schools throw out 483,520 lbs of waste EVERY DAY. As you may guess, much of this waste is avoidable, much is recyclable and a lot is able to be composted. Austin Says YES! To A Green Roof
On Thursday, May 17th, the Austin High School YES! Team installed a green roof on their school's annex building. They have been planning for this day for a long time! This team is coached by Austin High School Environmental Science Teacher Josh Dumas. Measuring Their Success
The Mankato West YES! Team, winners of the YES! Grand Prize Award, has been working hard.
