Good news: YES! has been recommended to receive funding from LCCMR (Legislative-Citizens’ Commission on Minnesota Resources) to help with costs through 2013. In general, LCCMR makes funding recommendations to the legislature for projects, primarily from the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund. YES staff completed the application and review process last summer, and the nearly 100 proposed

Nominations are due March 11th. You can nominate your YES team by submitting a 500-word essay that addresses what your team is doing to help your community 'go green'. Applicants must be within a 75-mile radius of the my29/WFTC office which means that the following YES teams are eligible: GFW, ACGC, Hutchinson, Litchfield, Northfield and EVW.
