WWG YES! Team’s Plastic Bag Recycling Project

This guest blog post is brought to you by the Westbrook-Walnut Grove (WWG) YES! Team, which is a part of their 2013-2014 Earth YES! class.

As part of our Earth YES! Class we do many projects to better ourselves while learning valuable tips and methods to save our planet. We’ve done many projects in the past, we are doing a continuation of last years project: Plastic Bag Recycling. As of this moment we have over 5,000 bags and were halfway to our goal of 10,000 bags. We’ve collected enough bags to cover a football field over 400 times. We are going to continue this until the end of the school year.
