YES! will bring together as many as 30 teams from across the state for the YES! Fall Summit 2012. This year’s Fall Summit will be held at the Redwood Area Community Center on October 31st from 8:30-2:15. We are excited to once again:
- Provide teams with the opportunity to see the big picture by showing them the region-wide YES! network in action
- Provide teams with energy education through hands-on learning opportunities
- Emphasize energy-related careers and educational opportunities in the region
- Provide teams with face-to-face interaction with potential resource people, businesses, and organizations
- Create situations for students to interact with other teams
- Encourage critical thinking about energy issues through activities and lessons
- Provide tools and resources for successful energy action projects
