While ‘Awards Season’ may not mean the same thing as it does in Hollywood – we’re equally as proud (if not more so!) of the work YES! teams have accomplished this year.
You can find a full listing of all the awards here.
Think Global,
Nearly one third of the teams this year engaged in educating their peers, families
and community on our energy use, energy conservation and renewable energy.
With more than 300 engaged students in the YES! program this season, the positive ‘ripples’ they make exponentially increases through these activities – making ‘waves’ in the global community!
Act Local,
These ‘ripples’ included starting effective composting programs, removing the invasive Buckthorn plants, replacing incandescent bulbs with CFL’s, maintaining a productive greenhouse and so much more!
Be sure to check out the teams’ individual work by browsing the Teams Page.
Say YES!
If you are interested in supporting the work of these teams, if you are excited about their work and would like to help coach a YES! team (or participate in one!), or if you’d simply like more information on the Program, please feel free to contact to contact us!
