On October 26th, 2018 the Youth Eco Solutions (YES!) Program announced the 2018-19 winners of the McKnight Foundation Project Seed Funding. Funding was awarded to teams whose projects involve creating solutions to today's environmental challenges through hands on projects that impact their school and/or community. YES! Kicks Off Another Great Year
On October 3rd 2018, YES! teams from around the west, central, and southern regions of Minnesota came together for the 2018 YES! Fall Summit at Prairie Woods ELC. On October 1st, the Arrowhead region of Minnesota had their Fifth Annual Youth Eco Solutions! Fall Summit at the Laurentian Environmental Center. I was raised in Zimmerman, MN and graduated from University of Minnesota, Morris with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. After college, I was a renewable energy intern at the West Central Research and Outreach Center and then got a GreenCorps position at River’s Edge Academy in St.Paul, MN.
