LEED Certification opportunity

The U.S. Green Building Council – Minnesota Chapter (USGBC-MN) recently announced the Chapter’s Adopt-A School-Program. In 2011, the Minnesota Chapter will choose a Minnesota public school [elementary and/or middle school and/or junior high (no high schools or pre-K schools)] to participate the school will also have the opportunity to achieve certification under LEED for Existing Buildings:

Food Recycling tour report

‘Greening’ the Holidays

  Results are rolling in! New London- Spicer, Litchfield, WWG and Springfield have all contributed hefty loads to the Holiday Light Campaign.  The lights collected by YES teams are being processed at West Central Industries in Willmar.
