While this is not ideal, it is currently necessary to provide cutlery for the students during lunch. Submitted by New Prague YES! Team Compass Learning Center students installed 5 indoor window extenders to facilitate indoor plants and seed starting for our outdoor gardens. The McKnight Grant also supported an additional 2 outdoor garden beds, adding to our other 3 outdoor garden beds. They will be utilized May-October for vegetable planting. The 26th annual Solar Boat Regatta was held Saturday May 19th at Riley Lake Park. Glencoe Silver Lake participated in the student division. The 30th Annual MTEEA Supermileage Challenge was held May 14-15, 2018 at Brainerd International Raceway. The Glencoe-Silver Lake YES! Supermileage Team entered 4 vehicles in this years challenge. Our Modified vehicles (Blue and Red in the photo) achieved mileages over 200 MPG and finished in the top ten.
