LqPV team tours power plant

From the team over at Lac qui Parle Valley: The LqPV YES! Team toured the Big Stone Power Plant recently. ACGC is at it again…

Having spent the summer hard at work in their school garden, ACGC's YES team is looking to compost their school's waste this season.  How are they going to do it?  They're building their own Earth Tub! How did it go?!?

It was a 'dark and stormy night' (or at least a dark day) but WWG Highschool has made it through "Black Out Day."  At 8:30 their group split up and turned off the lights in hallways and classrooms.   While shutting off lights they taped small signs that say "no lights" on top of every light switch.  They noted that it was pretty dark in the hallways, but exciting at the same time :)
